BHOOMI MACHINE
Precision Cylindrical Grinding machines are designed and manufactured to achieve high accuracies of roundness and cylindricity of jobs. Available for both production as well as tool room applications.

MACHINE BED
Close grained casting having box structured adequately ribbed design, provides very high rigidity and stability to the machine. Extremely good thermal stability is achieved by isolating the hydraulic unit.

WORK HEAD
The machine has a rigid Universal Work Head (optional). It has an alloy steel spindle running in special hydro-dynamic bearings having self adjustment of clearance for different speeds. During dead centre grinding a simple device completely eliminates the clearance in the bearing thus providing rigid support to the jobs. The bearing arrangement gives wear free operation. Fixed centre head is standard.

INTERNAL GRINDING HEAD
Mounted separately on the infeed slide thus providing a rigid support to the spindle giving better surface finish in grinding. Internal grinding operations can be done without removing external wheel.

INFEED SYSTEM
The infeed system moves on pre loaded linear guide ways. This guarantees high repetitive accuracy and stick-slip free fine movement of the slide. Infeed is given through a hardened and precision ground cam in 125 / 350 x 500 models and lead screw for 300/750×650 models. Grinding allowance and the required steplessely variable coarse and fine infeed rates can be pre-selected.

The automatic grinding cycle operates as follows:
Rapid Approach-Coarse Feed-Fine Feed-Spark Out-Rapid Rtitraction Of The Wheel Head And Infeed Hand Wheel To The Pre.

TAIL STOCK
The quill is carried in precision pre loaded antifriction sleeve and is kept under adjustable spring load A dresser block is also mounted on the tail stock body.

WHEEL HEAD
The wheel head has a very rigid spindle running in hydro-dynamic Multi-Point bearings. The spindle is made of alloy steel, specially heat treated to achieve high accuracy and stability for life. The wheel can be mounted on both ends of the spindle (optionally). Spindle cartridge unit is easily interchangeable.

COOLANT SYSTEMS
Variety of coolant filtration systems are available – From (standard)baffle tray to (optional) magnetic, paper cum magnetic, cyclone type filtration systems.
“S” Models with Hydraulic Rapid and Table movement & manual infeed also available.

INFEED THROUGH STEPPER MOTOR
Wheel in-feed is controlled by an electronic control system through a stepper motor drive.

SELECTED POSITION
This cycle/also starts / stops the work head motor and the coolant motor automatically. The machine is also capable of interfacing with automatic in-process gauging units.

LUBRICATION
The infeed slide is grease packed for life and the table slide is provided with automatic lubrication
